Sr Financial Analyst

This is a Sr Financial Analyst position with Weil-McLain, which is a division of The Marley-Wylain Company.
Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Sr. Financial Analyst to join and lead our Eden, NC manufacturing facility. The Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for coordinating the activities of departmental budgets, forecasts, cost accounting analysis and setting standard costs, capital spending, internal and external reporting for the Eden Plant.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, document, implement and audit cost accounting systems and procedures.
Set and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts (outlooks) as compared to actual results.
Review and audit cost analysis reports. Verify proper procedural applications and determine as to cause and reason for excessive costs (where identified). Assure accuracy before submitting cost reports.
Coordinate and manage annual physical inventory and year end cost standards rolls for the Eden facility.
Monitor Capital Spending. Prepare capital justifications (E201's) for the Eden facility. Audit results of E201 after implementation/installation of new capital.
Prepare, distribute, and present monthly KPI reviews to cross functional stakeholders and senior management teams.
Participate in internal, external, and Sarbanes Oxley audits.
Prepare various other reports to support the company's budgeting process and on-going operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field required.
MBA or CPA certification is a plus
2 to 5 years' experience as financial analyst, business analyst or cost accountant is strongly preferred.
Strong Excel skills required
Experience with ERP systems required. JD Edwards experience is strongly preferred
SQL/Query experience strongly preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to analyze complex problems, collect data, establish facts, interpret operational needs and develop solutions.
Experience working with cross functional teams
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proven ability to assess situations and develop plans to quickly resolve
Must be detail oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
