Job Description:
Provides leadership and is responsible for implementing and verifying the effectiveness of quality strategies and systems to include food safety, regulatory compliance and product quality requirements. Utilizes MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) principles & best practices which contribute to world class standards of operation through monitoring and evaluating SPQSCR to continuously improve performance. Effectively partners with operations to improve process and product quality. Develops local strategies and tactics in alignment with the brewery and integrated supply chain strategic plan.
Leads and is responsible for safety, financial and operational performance, laboratory asset care and reliability for the quality assurance business function. Ensures high quality products are produced, warehoused and shipped cost effectively through maximizing operational efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Incoming supplier materials, analytical, sensory, microbiology, sanitation, , co-products, brewing, fermenting, aging, filtration, blending, finishing, packaging, warehousing and distribution of finished packaged product. Identifies, supports, and provides technical resources for environmental, sustainability and energy initiatives and improvements.
Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. Is responsible for a multi-disciplinary team of direct and indirect reports and quality specialists reporting out of function area. Leads, mentors and develops assigned team in Performance, Career and Talent Management. Promotes and consults with leadership on strategies to create an inclusive and engaging environment.
Is responsible for the safety and quality of our products by adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors SQF guidelines. Ensures Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification which includes HACCP, GMP and housekeeping standards.
Education Level and/or
Experience:
BS in Science or Quality Engineering
Masters in Science or Quality Engineering preferred
Certifications AQS, ISO 9000, HACCP Manager Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification and/or IBD preferred

years experience in leading and managing quality in a manufacturing facility
Must have leadership experience in a Quality product/packaging lab setting in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and/or knowledge:
Deep understanding of quality systems and process improvement processes.
Foundational knowledge in Brewing or Packaging.
Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Control systems.
Solid background and advanced understanding of SPC (statistical process control), process capability and probability.
Working knowledge of quality system and operation, process safety management, environmental standards and regulations, and sustainable development.
Ability to analyze technical data and recognize trends that adversely impact quality.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and managerial ability to directly manage personnel, while providing for their technical training and personal development.
Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of manufacturing such as 6 Sigma, Process Capability, World Class Manufacturing, TQA, etc., and be able to establish and implement plans for changing workplace strategies adopted by the company in pursuit of its business needs.
Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Food Safety GMP, State Agricultural practices/policies, TTB regulations, plant safety regulations, FDA guidelines for food plant operations, and environmental regulations regarding manufacturing brewery operations.
Ability to apply high level root-cause and problem solving skills at all levels.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
